I think these are very good to hold pills or carry items. I bought mine as a place to keep powder. Unfortunately, the case really smashed (flattened) the powder so that it was formed into a flat wafer, flaky kind of structure. It was difficult to work with the powder in that form. It couldn't be used at a music festival with a key. It needed to be dumped out on a hard surface to be used. This makes this product not useful to me. But it looks cool and if I needed to cary pills, it would be perfect.
